Chaos

One of my associate teachers this week emailed reporting on a client that is so out of balance in the spine and pelvis, she marveled that the structure could even hold this being up. As I witness the unraveling in the pelvic floor and the freedom unleashed throughout the spine I am amazed at how "out of sacred being" we truly are. Where does the chaos begin? How do we create a sustainable culture in which to foster growth and well-being? We cannot expect the society "out there" to create the alignment now, can we?

Is Aging with Pain Inevitable?

An add this morning on my local NPR radio station for a PBS program to view in April, stated that people in their 50's have TO FACE THE INEVITABLE, that knee replacements, back pain and the assorted ailments affiliated with aging are the norm and we have to get ready. How consistent with the disease model of treatment that the consumer nation looks at the structure, the body, the being, as one that "inevitably" breaks down in the ways that marketing instructs us to break down. It has become a foregone conclusion that our physicality will fail us. Marketing to what is sustainable and how to create lifelong well-being, taking responsibility for this vehicle we live in, with no foregone conclusions is a choice to make. How do you plan to live in your body for the duration of your years? What tools, support, do you have to prevent back pain, knee and hip replacements?
